Dr. Aggarwal began his medical training at University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi University, Delhi, India. He then completed a residency in Pediatrics at Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital, Delhi University, Delhi, India. After completing his residency, he worked for one year in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and one year in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital and Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi University, Delhi, India. He also completed residency in Pediatrics at Nicklaus (Miami) Children's Hospital, Miami, FL. Dr. Aggarwal earned his fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX. He did advanced training in interventional cardiology for children and adults with congenital heart disease at Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX. Dr. Aggarwal is PALS and NALS certified and is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology. His performs transcatheter interventions for congenital heart disease affecting both children and adults. Dr. Aggarwal has very active research history and has earned various awards at national and international level for his research.
