Utilizing Human Centered Design Methods in Med Device Development

Session Organizer: Danny Gelfman, Medtronic

Human Centered Design (HCD) is an iterative approach to creative problem solving that keeps humans and their desired experiences at the center of the process.  In medical device development this approach helps us develop a deeper understanding of our users, both HCPs and patients, and determine optimal solutions that are not only useful, but usable and desirable.   This session will dig into a few examples of HCD in action and its unique impact to best serving Medtronic’s users and customers.
