Interim Executive Director, Institute for Engineering in Medicine, University of Minnesota
Bio: Knapp is a leader in Medical Device Development, working to treat unmet clinical needs in cardiovascular and surgical medicine for over 25 years.
Motivated by the belief that there is always more that can be done to benefit patients, Dave has earned a reputation for his relentless pursuit of meaningful innovation, a desire for improvement, and circumventing complacency. He is passionate about translating new solutions from the lab to the market, fostering open collaborative efforts, developing relationships with external institutions, and connecting functions to drive meaningful innovation.
